I know for sure that I'm taking the highest level classes I can. (Okay, so if you couldn't tell by now, I'm KIND OF a nerd.. Kind of.) But the real problem comes with the electives. Just today I sent in an application to be part of the Yearbook/Newspaper staff. If I get in, it'll take up two class periods, leaving me with my one spot for French. But if I don't, I have to find two full-year or four one-semester classes to take instead. At first, I only wanted to apply because of the prospect that it would count towards an extra-curricular on a college application. Now, after I've taken a good look at some of my sister's old yearbooks, I realized that I want to do it because of what it would entail - having something of mine (or something that I helped make) last for years and be seen by hundreds, maybe even thousands of people. It's scary, and super intimidating, but I'm ready to take it on. (And if I don't get in, I'll still have theater to fall back on!)
Working on the publications is a very cool thing. I think you would like it a lot and do very well. VP and I are going to work on the class list and hopefully have it posted by the end of the week.
